1 Annalynne's head is full of useless information. The subjects she knows the most about include, but are not limited to: marine life, serial killers, the Holocaust, Disney World, and vehicles. Most of her childhood was spenting whatever she could get her hands on, a result of being cooped up in her bedroom alone most of the time in an effort to avoid her neglectful parents and her hateful oldest brother. Those years of reading often show themselves now in the way she can talk about anything with anyone, because chances are she has some knowledge of the subject -- even if it's the smallest, silliest thing.
2 She's only been in two serious relationships, but she doesn't necessarily count the first since it took place in high school. Her second had a devastating end so she doesn't talk in depth about it very often. The first relationship ended ambically with college on the horizon for both of them and him jetting off to California on a scholarship. Now they're friends on Facebook and the closest they come to conversation is liking statuses or pictures. Relationship number two, with a man a few years older than her physically but much younger than her mentally, ended after two years of what Anna describes as hell. He confessed to cheating on her and Annalynne's trust in men was even more fractured after the betrayal.
3 Though she grew up an atypical daddy's girl, Annalynne isn't close to either of her parents and often goes long stretches of time without talking to them or her oldest brother, Colton. To her, it keeps her stress level of a minimum. Logan got custody of Anna when she was fifteen and he immediately had her medically evaluated. By the age of sixteen, Annalynne was diagnosed with anxiety bordering on depression and medicated to prevent her diagnosis from getting any worse. Each day she takes two 1 mg extended release xanax tablets and has .5 mg tablets as needed for break through anxiety. She doesn't talk about it to people who aren't very close to her, but she's thankful to be medicated and not to have some of the thoughts she used to have about herself.
4 Driving has never been a capability or a priority to Annalynne. Back in Denver, her brother or her friends would take her back and forth to classes and work or she would hop on her trusted bike. Now, in New York, she finds that vehicles are highly overrated between her bike and public transport.
5 Her musical tastes are vast, but mainstream.Sshe listens to everything from Darius Rucker to Rihanna to Korn and definitely anything in between. She's been to one live concert and it was a Miley Cyrus concert. Do not ask.
6 Going into nursing was an easy decision for Annalynne since helping people is something she loves to do and being in the middle of chaotic situations is something she's accustomed to. Believe it or not, it's also something she enjoys because it's second nature. Her fight or flight reponds with fight, 90% of the time. This surprises most people since she's oftentimes described as "adorable" and "cute" and "sweet." The emergency room and stand-by trauma unit is what she's a part of at NY Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. It's the scariest dream come true.
7 Trusting people is hard for Annalynne and though she's generally a genuinely nice person, she often finds herself quietly side-eyeing people and making snap judgments as a defense mechanism. She's pretty good about altering her judgments if proven wrong, though.
8 After her second relationship ended, Annalynne developed a staunch distaste for "magazine perfect" blonde women. After being informed that her freckles were off putting in a heated debate, coupled with the physique of the female he cheated with... well, Annalynne harbors some lingering resentment. It's a fairly obvious resentment if someone engages Annalynne in a conversation about society's ideals on what makes a woman beautiful. And don't even get her started on body image.
9 She claims that she isn't a fan of tattoos but Anna has four.Sshe has a detailed old compass on the inside of her right arm so she'll always find her way, she has "reach" on the inside of her left wrist incursive surrounded vines and flowers, she has "freedom" in the same script on the outside of her left hip with the same floral vines, and she has a bright red star on her ankle.
